About the Role:
Sylvan Learning in Baytown, TX is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Corporate Asset Manager to join our growing team! In this key role, you'll oversee and optimize company assets to support our mission of delivering exceptional educational experiences. Responsibilities:
- Manage, track, and maintain a comprehensive inventory of corporate assets across locations
- Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and best practices
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of asset records and compliance with company standards
- Coordinate asset procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal
- Analyze asset lifecycle data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and facilities teams on asset planning and budgeting
- Prepare and present asset management reports to corporate leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in asset management, facilities management, or a related corporate role
- Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data tracking, reporting, and budgeting
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
